Mr. Michael N. Shirima


Mr. Michael Shirima is an Aircraft Performance Engineer and Evaluation by Profession. He worked for 11 Years in Nairobi, Kenya at the now defunct East African Airways (EAA). In 1977 he joined the task force established by Tanzania Government to set up the National Airline, Air Tanzania Corporation (ATC) and was appointed its first Operations Director. He resigned in 1979 and   traded internationally in coffee. He founded Precision Flight (Africa) Limited, a crop dusting company in 1986 and Precision Air Services (Precision air) in 1993. He has extensive Boardroom experience: Board member of The Bank of Tanzania (BOT), Chairman of Tanzania Golf Union, the current Chairman of the Boards of Precision Air and TOL Gases both listed companies in the DSE, Board member of I&M Bank (T) Ltd and Tanzindia Assurance Co. Ltd.  He established an orphanage, Cornel Ngaleku Children Centre (CNCC) located at his home village in Rombo Kilimanjaro Region.

Mr. Allan Kilavuka


Mr. Kilavuka is the Group Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Kenya Airways Plc. He’s also a Non-Executive Board Member of two Kenya Airways subsidiaries, the regional operator Jambojet and the Tanzanian operator Precision Air.

He is the former Managing Director of Jambojet Limited, a fully owned subsidiary of Kenya Airways Plc. With over 23 years’ experience in leadership and management, and extensive knowledge and experience in the Africa business environment, Allan has proven success in new organization set ups, change management, financial planning, integrations, process improvement and company compliance and responsible strategic leadership.

Allan started his career in audit, accounting and advisory at Deloitte East Africa. He later joined GE as the Africa share service leader and held various senior leadership roles in GE businesses and in corporate both in Kenya and South Africa before joining Jambojet.

Allan has a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the University of Nairobi and holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Psychology from the University of Liverpool. He has trained at GE’s world class Crotonville Leadership Institute in New York, USA in Executive Leadership, Advanced Management and Financial Planning.

Mr. Dick Murianki


Mr. Murianki has over twenty years of experience in the airline industry in accountancy and general management. Dick has served Kenya Airways in various managerial roles over the years. He was Finance Manager for the then cargo subsidiary - Kencargo Airlines International Limited, Commercial Business Performance Manager for the commercial department, Group Head of Internal Audit, Head of Financial Control and Ag. Chief Financial Officer prior to his current role as Director for the cargo business in Kenya Airways.

Prior to joining Kenya Airways, he worked with Ernst and Young Public Accountants for over eight years in accountancy and business consultancy roles. Dick holds an MBA from Moi University – Kenya, and a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Nairobi. He is a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya and a Certified Internal Auditor.

Avelyne Msaki


Avelyne has over fourteen (14) years’ experience in auditing, capacity building programmes and advisory services. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting from the University of Dar es Salaam. He is a Certified Public Accountant in Public Practice (CPA – PP), a registered member of the National Board of Accountants and Auditors of Tanzania - (NBAA) and a graduate from the University of Dar es salaam [Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting]. Avelyne has immense experience in both internal and external audit having worked for four (4) years at Claritas International and ten (10) years with PricewaterhouseCoopers. He is currently a Managing Partner at Claritas International, a professional services firm providing Audit, Capacity building programmes, Tax and Advisory services in Tanzania.

Mr. Abdulrahman Omar Kinana


Mr. Kinana holds a BA in Political Science and International Relations at Ljubljana University, Yugoslavia, and an MPA (Management and Public Administration) from Harvard University in the United States. Mr. Kinana served in the Tanzania Peoples Defence Forces (TPDF) for 20 years before retiring as a colonel in 1992. He also served as the Deputy Minister of Defence and National Service, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Minister of Defence and National Service, and Speaker of the East African Legislative Assembly. He was a member of the Tanzanian Parliament for the Arusha constituency for 10 years. In the year 2012, he became the Secretary-General of Chama Cha Mapinduzi (CCM), the ruling party, until he stepped down in 2018. He has vast Boardroom experience as a Chairman and a Board member of leading companies in various industries including; Shipping, Technology, telecommunication, media, real estate, pharmaceuticals, agriculture, insurance, oil and gas, and banking, just to mention a few.   

Ms. Hellen Muthoni Mathuka


Ms. Mathuka holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Kenyatta University and an MBA (Strategic Management) from United States International University. Hellen has wide experience in Finance and Audit having previously worked as the Head of Corporate Finance as well as Head of Internal Audit at Kenya Airways. As part of succession planning, Hellen also led the Pricing and Revenue Management function for a period of 2 years. Prior to joining Kenya Airways, she worked at East African Breweries Ltd, Ernst & Young and Family Bank.

Hellen is a Certified Public Accountant of Kenya (CPA(K)), Certified Internal Auditor, Certified Information Systems Auditor and holds certification in Control self-assessment. She has a diploma in Airline Management from IATA, certificate in Executive business development from the Gordon Institute of Business Management and is a certified coach and mentor.  

Capt. Evans Ndorosey


Capt. Ndorosey is a retired airline Captain with over 45 years of aviation experience. During his aviation career, he worked with East African Airways, Air Tanzania, Mozambique Airlines and Precision Air. Besides flying, he also did Management and pilot ground and flight training.

Migire Migire


Mr. Migire joined Precision Air in October, 2014 as a Contract and Compliance Officer and rose to serve as the Chief Legal Counsel and Company Secretary from September, 2016. He holds a Bachelor of Laws [LL.B] from St. Augustine University of Tanzania, a Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Law School of Tanzania and an MBA in Corporate Management from Mzumbe University. Mr. Migire was admitted as an Advocate of the High Court of Tanzania in June, 2014. He has over 7 year of work experience dealing with general legal matters including aviation law, litigation, corporate affairs, commercial, and compliance issues.   He is a practicing member of the Tanganyika law Society and the East Africa Law Society. He also has a Diploma in International Air Law from the International Air Transport Association (IATA).
