POSITION: CONTRACT & COMPLIANCE OFFICER
REPORTS TO: CHIEF LEGAL COUNSEL
DUTY STATION: DAR ES SALAAM.

ROLE PURPOSE STATEMENT:

To provide legal advice to the company on matters relating to Contracts & Compliance.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES /RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develop and maintain Contract Database as well as sign off sheet folder
• Provides accurate and comprehensive legal advice to the airline on matters pertaining to its business
• Implements, and supports the work functions of the departments in meeting company targets.
• Draft, vet and negotiate contracts on behalf of the company
• Give legal opinion as required by the supervisor
• Prepare pleadings and submissions in the manner that safeguards the company position
• Securing and preserving company interests
• Attend court cases or other meetings on behalf of the company as directed by Supervisor
• Develop effective working relationships with key user departments to ensure their needs are understood and appropriate solutions developed that support business needs.
• Ensure Company is compliant to governing authorities, national, regional and international organization rules and policies
• Perform other duties related to the above as may be assigned by the supervisor

POSITION: E-COMMERCE & PAA ROYAL EXCUTIVE (1) POST
REPORTS TO: MARKETING & CORPORATE COMMUNICATION MANAGER
DUTY STATION: DAR ES SALAAM

RRESPONSIBILITIES
You will be reporting to Marketing and Corporate Communication Manager.

ROLE PURPOSE STATEMENT:
To enhance use of Precision Air's electronic systems to sell the company’s products,services and ensure the achievement of PAA Royal Frequent Flyer Program Objectives.


KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES / RESPONSIBILITIES

• Development, delivery and coordinating implementation of Precision Air’s e- commerce products and services including
• On line check-in
• Click &Fly
• Mobile payments and other payment platforms.
• Internet Booking engine
• E-commerce business analysis to measure success in implementation and business requirements.
• Coordinate training of stakeholders and ensure contact center, Frontline sales and marketing are well versed with PW e-commerce products.
• Oversee company’s website maintenance,Content and troubleshooting.
• Product testing and process mapping to ensure a smooth introduction of the airlines e- commerce products
• To ensure that IBE becomes a major sales/revenue generator for the company.
• Identify new e-business products to enhance company strategy
• Work with the social media, Facebook,Twitter,Instagram etc. to project the company image
• Design, develop and coordinate PAA Royal program strategy implementation for customer retention.
• Design and continuously improve PAA royal program rules and regulations to ensure the long lasting attractiveness for customers.
• Develop leading edge creative campaigns to attract potential members for recruitment into the loyalty program. Provide for quality check and assurance to ensure effective implementation of the PAA Royal program communication plans.
• Oversee the PAA Royal program membership applications are processed promptly in order to monitor and manage membership by coordinating with the PW sales, travel agents, PW in-flight and ground handling staff participation.
• Continuously monitor membership database, in order to acquire information of customer profile and spend behavior to utilize it for further developing the loyalty program.
• Identify and negotiate partnership e.g. car hire, hotel tie ups with internal as well as external brands for loyalty program activities to facilitate and optimize customer reach.
• Oversee the operations of the PAA Royal program Helpdesk to monitor the nature of calls provide guidance or responding to customer queries and forward any major concerns to the Senior E-Commerce Executive.
• Run PAA Royal program PAA Royal program Helpdesk and ensure quality services are delivered to Paa Royal members.
• Design and implement Paa Royal member’s engagement program to achieve a high level of engagement.
• Ensure Paa Royal members are enjoying the membership benefits as established in the program.
• Coordinate and oversee the program’s branding and visibility at the airport, Sales offices, travel agents, factions etc….
• Any other duties as may be assigned by your supervisor

POSITION: FLIGHT DISPATCH OFFICERS
REPORTS TO: FLIGHT OPERATIONS CONTROL MANAGER
DUTY STATION: DAR ES SALAAM.

ROLE PURPOSE STATEMENT:

To ensure flight dispatch duties are carried out efficiently in conformity with safety standards of the company.
i. Ensure Computer Flight Plans (CFP) and aircraft performance data are available to the flight crew at all appropriate stations that Precision Air operate to.
ii. Prepare and compile daily operations analysis reports to enable management to make sound and well-informed business decisions.
iii. Monitor and control aircraft movement to know the aircraft location and operating status.
iv. Report and initiate action on reported aircraft incidents/accidents in conformity with Emergency Response Manual in order to manage information flow
v. Ensure routine monitoring of safety and quality critical activities and ongoing conformity with all regulatory requirements, organization standards and local procedures.
vi. Ensure corrective and preventative actions identified by quality& safety audits; investigations or other internal reporting mechanisms are undertaken within the agreed time frame.
vii. Report to the Flight Operations Manager on all crew scheduling matters and recommending any changes in crew scheduling policy which might be advantageous
viii. Track and monitor crew movement, position and schedules to ensure availability of adequate crew complement.
ix. Prepare and advice the crew movement to transport provider to ensure prompt pick- up and drop-off of crew
x. Keep sufficient flight watch and monitor flight progress in accordance with Operational Manual and action all Sitatext/Email NOTAM for efficient safe operations
xi. Compile and compute flight progress status in order to maintain correct flight information.
xii. Ensure all flight plans on the Precision Air network are generated according to Company policy.
xiii. Provide Aeronautical Information Service (AIS) and meteorological pre-flight briefing for all crews departing from Dar es Salaam and other stations, where applicable.
xiv. Prepare process and provide all updated dispatch documentation and information for readiness of flight crew briefings.
xv. Provide timely briefing to flight crew, in conformity with Company policy and Air Navigation Regulations (ANR) for safe operation of the flights.
xvi. Advise Load Control on any payload status on the sector(s) to be flown so as to maximize payload
xvii. File Air Traffic Control (ATC) flight plans with Civil Aviation Authorities (CAA) in accordance with legal requirements
xviii. Provide meteorological information to aircraft in-flight when required for safe flight operations.
xix. Ensure routine monitoring of safety and quality critical activities and ongoing Conformity with all regulatory requirements, organization standards and local procedures
xx. Ensure corrective and preventative actions identified by quality& safety audits; investigations or other internal reporting mechanisms are undertaken within the agreed time frame.

Knowledge, Skills Experience

POSITION: HUMAN RESOURCES BUSINESS PARTNER

ROLE PURPOSE STATEMENT:
The HR Business Partner, reporting into the Head of HR, will be accountable for driving the HR agenda in theCOMMERCIAL& ENGDepartments, with specific responsibility for implementing elements of the integrated capability strategy for the COMMERCIAL & ENG departments.

 

Outputs and Accountabilities

Be accountable for communicating, implementing and embedding the core HR processes in the COMMERCIAL & ENG departments:

Talent Management
Implement the talent processes to support the current and future development and deployment needs of the departments in line with strategies and plans
Support the recruitment process, including ensuring effective on boarding
• Implement talent management solutions that will underpin business priorities
• Train and support managers on the quality and outputs of talent management processes & principles
• Consolidate talent data and input to the departments’ talent processes.

Performance Management
• Develop consistent communications to support the effective adoption of the performance management process, explaining the rationale and what is required from managers and employees
• Support individuals and managers in developing team and individual goals that are relevant to their department and aligned to business priorities and customer requirements
• Coach managers to build strong individual and team performance on a regular basis
• Ensure a common understanding and consistent application of the rating scale, and build managers’ capability and confidence in using the scale
• Coach managers to have honest performance conversations during 1on1 meetings, mid-year and year end reviews
• Support managers in making appropriate performance rating decisions, and communicating the reasons and outcomes of these decisions effectively.

Organization Development
• Ensure that all change initiatives focus on behavioral and engagement aspects during pre and post implementation
• Support the communication and stakeholder engagement of the change vision and journey to staff, including challenges, risks and benefits
• Anticipate barriers to change and risks, and work to remove these
• Work with leaders to assess the capability of their team/s and help develop capability building plans (covering recruitment, training, coaching, communication, etc.)
• Support the implementation of anchoring plans, tracking and monitoring its success and adjust as needed.

Learning & Development
• Liaise with Line to ensure optimized development processes are implemented to standard. This involves supporting the Performance Management processes to establish need state and thereafter supporting the competence development process and application of common tools to track competence growth in each unit of the business.
• Provide custody services of all employee training data and manage operational cost and quality.
• Work with managers and staff to ensure they understand the importance of L&D and how it supports them
• Curricula and solution design is up to standard. Training content creation/ customization in line with global principles
• Coach Managers in providing feedback and creating development plans with staff.
• Ensure L&D strategy development and execution (including alignment of business needs with available funds/ Evaluation of Training implemented - RoI)
• Ensure training delivery in line with agreed plan

• Deliver communications that reinforce consistent messages regarding C&B
• Keep abreast of legislative changes that impact C&B and consider how they may affect local practice
• Work with leaders in COMMERCIAL & ENG to ascertain C&B requirements for key individuals in their respective teams

• Manage and facilitate potential conflict situations to achieve legal and ethical consensus
• Manage the resolution of employee relations issues in COMMERCIAL & ENG, with support from the HR Director
• Support and coach managers in understanding and dealing with industrial relations issues.

Employee Engagement:
• Review feedback from various business reports [e.g. exit interviews, KPI scorecards] to understand issues associated with engagement in COMMERCIAL & ENG departments
• Coach managers to use all opportunities (e.g. 1:1’s, career discussions) to shape strong engagement
• Be the employees advocate.

Competence Requirements
• Track record of building good relationships and credibility with business leaders based on solid commercial understanding and an ability to identify customer needs and go beyond just delivering defined HR solutions
• Ability to solve business problems pragmatically and at speed – assimilating issues and ideas into clear requirements, generating solutions based on own insight or learning
• Personal and career maturity to comfortably guide and coach leaders and managers
• Strong communication, engagement and interpersonal skills – delivers impactful messages and influences outcomes
• Experience in aligning structure, process and routines to implement and anchor changes

POSITION: PRICING & TARIFFS OFFICER
REPORTS TO: LEAD OFFICER REVENUE CONTROL
DUTY STATION: DAR ES SALAAM

ROLE PURPOSE STATEMENT:
Responsible for developing and controlling Fares,Commercial procedures, Fares Training and management of Interline issues to ensure Company’s Revenue objectives are achieved.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES / RESPONSIBILITIES

PRICING AND FARE FILING ISSUES

• Monitor, Control and drive pricing and inventory management strategies to deliver expected Yield, Revenue,RASK andPassenger targets.
• Monitor route performance and recommend pricing actions to sales and “flag” problem areas to achieve optimum route performance.
• Gather and analyze all relevant data (on competition - pricing, yield, and traffic) per route to aid in decision making in the pricing process.
• Construct fares and rules that are suitable to the various market segments of Air travelers and attain fares approval for same.
• Direct filing of approved fares into ATPCO and Crane Pax and ensure PW fares are available for all relevant Distribution channels.
• Create Fares for all Tour operators and corporate contracts – this includes determining the best mix of discounts to be offered and administration of the contracts.
• Carry out sampling on a two weekly basis to check the status of the fares in the system vs uplifted coupons with any kind of under collections.
• Maintain a close Relationship with Revenue Accounts to identify discrepancies and analyze the root cause and implement corrective actions to safeguard company revenues.
• Manage new business from GSA’s, PSA’s and Corporates and maintain their contracts and Crane invoice accounts in liaison with finance. 

INTERLINE & SPA ISSUES

• Control, prepare and negotiate all interline, IATA agreements e.g. MIBA (Multilateral Interline Business Agreements), ZED (Zonal employees Discount) to ensure smooth interline with other carriers.
• Identify, negotiate and administrate SPA and Code share partnersagreements that add value to the PW network and bottom line.
• Proactively initiate correspondence with partners to explore the possibility of negotiating enhancements to current SPAs and developing new SPAs and Interline Agreements that will promote PW new routes, as well as establish links between PW and other airline route networks.
• Liaise with sales areas to develop and seek IATA adoption and government approval of interline-able fares within specified regions to PW’s best possible advantage.
• Represent PW in IATA Tariffs Conferences and Airline workshops as the need arises.

• Develop and enhance Commercial Procedures and release Tariff notices as needed in order to enhance and protect PW revenues.

TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT

• Training Precision Air staff and GSA’s on Fares and ticketing procedures.
